Interior painting

Docks in Atlantic Beach

Years of salt film, algae and grime came off this dock and walkway. The boards are cleaner, brighter and a lot safer to walk on.

What to look for in a painter's photos

When you're comparing painters, look closely at the edges. Where the wall meets the ceiling, where trim meets siding, around windows and doors. Straight, clean lines take time and a steady hand, and they're the first thing to give away a rushed job.

Look at the job sites too. Floors covered, furniture protected, ladders where they belong. How a crew treats your house while they're working says a lot about how they'll treat the finished product.
